Welcome to Projecting Leaders of Tomorrow course.
This is a virtual 10-module training module introducing project management and agile principles to youth learners entering high school or in school. The goal is not only to learn them but also apply them in our real practice with a culminating project to augment project-based learning as well.

The class meets virtually through Google Meet on the following Sundays from 10 AM to 11 AM Eastern Time.

- Learners will need to have between 2 to 4 hours every week. The anticipated spread is as follows:
- ~1 hour of reading from the book, watching suggested videos, and completing assigned assessments on Google Classroom
- ~1 hour of class time on Google Meet as noted above
- ~1-2 hour of working with the other team members for the project outside the class
This course is a 10-week course that
- Covers the five process groups of project management (PM) framework.
- Gives overview of the tools and techniques used for the critical PM knowledge areas
- Introduces the adaptive framework to organizing work for productivity
- Helps you with organizing yourself and contributing to any project.
- Incorporates project-based learning with an individual and a team-based component.
This curriculum is designed to introduce project management principles including basics from both the linear and adaptive project management framework.
It covers nine critical knowledge areas that are pivotal to managing oneself better to contribute to any project or lead any project. Focusing primarily on the student learners, the course aims for students to use these skills in their practical academic and extra-curricular so that they can become better as they complete school assignments, prepare for colleges, and aim to gain gainful employment.
There will two main components in this course. The first component is working individually with the student learner to come up with one or two important goals that they can either achieve or have a game plan to achieve by adapting the project management principles. The second component introduced team-based project work for learners to develop their skills to contribute, manage, and lead a project.
In order to meet the attendance requirements, you will have to
- Participate in the class during the week by completing assigned readings and come ready.
- Submit the assigned assignments for the weeks containing the written assignment on time.
- If you miss 4/10 weeks of participation, then you will be considered voluntarily having dropped the course.
You can withdraw from the course without incurring any fees until the end of week 2. But, after that, the request for withdrawal will be subject to the following policies.
- Week 1: 100% refund
- Week 2: 50% refund
- Week 3 onwards: 0% refund
The facilitator will ensure giving feedback on all the written questions within 72 hours.
Every learner is held to the highest academic standards where the responses to the discussion question, participation, and written assignments are the learner’s original work. Each learner should exercise good judgment in what is chosen to share, avoiding personal, non-public, or competitively sensitive information. An integrity policy is part of many work and academic engagements and included here to prepare the learner.
Overall Course Assessments
This course is structured on a read-and-discuss week followed by an assignment-and-reflect week for every module.
